"Birds & Blooms" will be on display from April 28 through May 31.

Scituate artist Janet Cornacchio will display her watercolor paintings of birds and flowers at the Hingham Public Library’s Dolphin Gallery later this month.

The Scituate artist’s paintings are designed with rich and intense water colors and Director Dennis R. Corcoran said they favors expressionism over realism.

Cornacchio is an active member of Front Street Art Gallery in Scituate and is the president of the Scituate Art Association.
