South Elementary Holds Back to School Night

Parents are invited to join to learn about their child’s curriculum and tour his or her new classroom on Wednesday, September 19.

Grade K

You will begin by touring your child’s classroom from 7:00-7:30.  From 7:30-8:00, please join the kindergarten teachers in the cafeteria as they speak to you about your child’s curriculum.  Please be reminded that kindergarten students do not attend this event as they already visited their classroom with a parent during their first week conference.

Grade 1

Please join the grade one teachers in the cafeteria from 6:00-6:20.  During this time they will be speaking to you about your child’s curriculum.  You will then be invited to tour your child’s classroom from 6:20-7:00.

Grade 2

Please join the grade two teachers in the cafeteria from 5:00-5:30.  During this time they will be speaking to you about your child’s curriculum.  You will then be invited up to your child’s classroom on the top floor from 5:30-6:00.

Grade 3

The third grade team will be conducting their entire evening’s events in your child’s classroom.  From 6:00-7:00, your child’s teacher will be speaking to you about the curriculum, and there will be additional time to explore the classroom, as well.

Grade 4

Please join the grade four teachers in the cafeteria from 7:00-7:30.  During this time they will be speaking to you about your child’s curriculum.  You will then be invited up to tour your child’s classroom on the top floor from 7:30-8:00.

Grade 5

You will begin by touring your child’s classroom from 5:00-5:30.  From 5:30-6:00, please join the grade five teachers in the cafeteria as they speak to you about your child’s curriculum.
