South Shore Conservatory Congratulates Piano Solo Competition Winners

Karen Ji of Hingham named overall winner

South Shore Conservatory (SSC) congratulates all their students who participated in 15th annual Piano Solo Competition. Karen Ji of Hingham was named overall winner and received the Larence H. Smith Award for outstanding Piano Solo Performance.

The competition took place on Saturday, May 2 at SSC’s One Conservatory Drive, Hingham location. First place winners in each age division received scholarships, and all winners were invited to participate in the winners’ concert which followed the competition.

In addition to Karen Ji, winners in their age divisions include Grace Ji, also of Hingham, Luke Hutton, Ellie Mraz, Hayley Cardillo and Olivia Noreke of Duxbury, Renee Han and May Ng of Braintree, Aiden Cui and Ina Cui of Norwell, Jack Madden and Erin Driscoll of Cohasset, Reagan George of Easton, and Jennifer Boyd or Hull.

South Shore Conservatory, recently recognized as a national model for arts education by the National Guild for Community Arts Education, is celebrating nearly 45 years of enriching the lives of South Shore residents through music and the arts.
