South Shore Conservatory Holds Auditions for 2016 Summer Arts Programs

South Shore Conservatory (SSC) announces auditions for their summer 2016 performing arts programs for students of all ages at their Hingham campus.

Wind and percussion students in grades five through twelve are invited to audition for SSC’s Summer Music Festival two-week wind ensemble camp, which includes Summer Wind Ensemble and Festival Wind Ensemble for high school and college students, and its new one-week All-Star Band program for students in elementary and middle school. Summer Music Festival students perform in high quality wind band, chamber and jazz ensembles with musicians from all across Southeastern Massachusetts. Placement auditions will be held at the Hingham campus, at One Conservatory Drive, on April 30 and May 14. Summer Vocal Institute, a camp for singers age seven through eighteen to discover their vocal potential and gain the tools for becoming more confident performers, holds placement auditions for this year’s program on Saturday, May 21, 10 am – 3 pm at SSC’s Hingham campus at One Conservatory Drive.
