Glorious classical music in a true chamber setting.

South Shore Conservatory’s renowned Conservatory Concert Series (CCS) kicks off its 2014/2015 season with the World’s End Trio performing beautiful, traditional chamber music in an intimate setting, as it is meant to be heard, on Sunday, October 19, 4 pm, at One Conservatory Drive, Hingham.

The Conservatory Concert Series is generously sponsored by Boston Private Bank & Trust Company. Thanks to their support, admission to the concerts is free, advancing the Conservatory’s mission of expanding access to arts education and performance. CCS features the extraordinary talent of the Conservatory’s faculty.

Comprised of master musicians Mark Goodman, piano, Katherine Roussopoulos, violin, and Adele Carter, cello, the World’s End Trio presents Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op. 70 No.1 in D major “Ghost,” and Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 2 in e minor. Both profoundly beautiful works will be presented in their entirety.
