South Shore Conservatory's Concert Series Presents Cedar Hill Jazz Club
Audiences invited to enjoy jazz, rock and pop in the open air

South Shore Conservatory’s renowned Conservatory Concert Series (CCS) proudly presents Cedar Hill Jazz Club, Friday, June 19, 7 pm in the Jane Carr Amphitheater, at One Conservatory Drive, Hingham.
This is the final of seven concerts in Conservatory Concert Series’ 2014/15 season, which began in October. CCS concerts feature the extraordinary talents of the Conservatory’s faculty. The series is generously sponsored by Boston Private Bank & Trust Company. Thanks to their support, admission to the concerts is free, advancing the Conservatory’s mission of expanding access to arts education and performance.
Massa Products Corporation is the sponsor of the Cedar Hill Jazz Club concert, which highlights the diversity of SSC’s talented Jazz/Rock/Pop department faculty members. As each artist showcases his/her individual style, performing everything from original compositions to rock, pop and jazz standards, the audience will have an general overview of the department’s eclecticism. There’s something for everyone at this much-anticipated event, which draws a standing room crowd every year.

SSC faculty members performing include JRP department co-chairs Ed Sorrentino, percussion, Ed Broms, piano, with pianists Anthony Geraci and Jeff D’Antona, guitarists Erik Calderone, and John McCarthy, vocalists Meredith Borden and Maria Marini, saxophonists John Vanderpool and Trevor Kellum, trumpeter Rob Reustle, and percussionist Ted Sadjyk.
Many of these musicians will also be performing at South Shore Conservatory’s upcoming Hingham Jazz Festival on September 19 and 20.

Following the performance, the audience is invited stay, enjoy free refreshments, and visit with the musicians to learn more about them.

South Shore Conservatory, recently recognized as a national model for arts education by the National Guild for Community Arts Education, is celebrating nearly 45 years of enriching the lives of South Shore residents through music and the arts.
