South Shore Conservatory's Concert Series Presents Joyful Voices

South Shore Conservatory’s renowned Conservatory Concert Series (CCS) proudly presents Joyful Voices, on Sunday, December 14, 4 pm at One Conservatory Drive, Hingham.

The Conservatory Concert Series is generously sponsored by Boston Private Bank & Trust Company. Thanks to their support, admission to the concerts is free, advancing the Conservatory’s mission of expanding access to arts education and performance. CCS features the extraordinary talent of the Conservatory’s faculty.

Joyful Voices features SSC’s voice faculty singing old and new songs of the season. Audience members will enjoy some traditional, some contemporary and some unusual songs, all sung with the gorgeous voices that are a hallmark of SSC’s amazingly versatile voice faculty.
Performers on this concert include Voice Department Chair Emily Browder Melville, vocalists Meredith Borden, Sara Bielanski, Kristy Errera-Solomon, Mark Leuning, Beth MacLeod Largent, Maria Veronica Marini, Holly Marshall, Eve Montague and Lorna Jane Norris. Accompanied by pianist Jonathan Roberts, this concert also features percussionist Ed Sorrentino, bassist Chris Rathbun and saxophonist John Vanderpool.
Following the performance, the audience is invited stay, enjoy some holiday refreshments, and visit with the musicians to learn more about them.

Joyful Voices is the third of seven CCS concerts. Other performances include Made in America on February 8 in Duxbury and February 15 in Hingham, Homecoming: SSC Alumni in Concert on March 15 in Hingham, From Vienna with Love: An All-Mozart Extravaganza on April 19 in Duxbury and May 3 in Hingham, and Cedar Hill Jazz Club on June 19 in Hingham.
