South Shore Conservatory's Wacky Wednesdays Family Concert Series Presents Ben Rudnick and Friends
Seven-time Parents' Choice winner returns to the Carr Amphitheater

South Shore Conservatory’s Wacky Wednesdays family concert series presents seven-time Parents’ Choice Award winner and family entertainer Ben Rudnick and Friends on Wednesday, July 15, 10 am, in the Jane Carr Amphitheater, One Conservatory Drive in Hingham.
Wacky Wednesdays family concerts are one of two Summer Spotlight concert series in the SSC’s open air venue. WATD is the media partner for Wacky Wednesdays. The other series, Evenings Under the Stars Saturday evening concerts, starts on July 11.
Ben Rudnick and Friends have been bringing families, music and fun together in their own unique style from their first release, Emily Songs, in 2000 to their recent Love is a Superpower. Boasting a high level of adventurous musicianship, the band considers its main focus to be providing a common ground where all family members can, without compromise, enjoy a shared musical experience. Their enthusiastic recordings and live performances seamlessly range from light folk, bluegrass, calypso, rock and even Irish Jigs.

Touring steadily since their inception, the band has played extensively in their native New England, along the eastern seaboard and has recently visited Colorado. Performances big and small tend to be events, a slice of time where families relax and enjoy each other’s company.
Publishers Weekly called Rudnick’s show “listening enjoyment for the whole family,” while Boston Herald Online called his show “a good dose of fun.”
This performance is the fourth of five Wacky Wednesdays family concerts. The final Wacky Wednesdays concert is Zak Morgan on July 29.
