South Shore Conservatory's Wacky Wednesdays Family Concert Series Presents Zak Morgan
GRAMMY® Award nominated children's entertainer comes to the Carr Amphitheater

South Shore Conservatory’s Wacky Wednesdays family concert series presents GRAMMY® Award nominee Zak Morgan, performing his special brand of engaging songs for adults and children, to the Jane Carr Amphitheater, One Conservatory Drive in Hingham, on Wednesday, July 29 at 10 am.
Wacky Wednesdays family concerts are one of two Summer Spotlight concert series in the SSC’s open air venue. WATD is the media partner for Wacky Wednesdays. The other series, Evenings Under the Stars Saturday evening concerts, started on July 11.
Morgan’s unique style of children’s music delivers songs and poems with wit and charm that inspire and tickle the funny bones of children and adults alike. When he is not writing and recording, he performs family concerts throughout the country. His live performances are always filled with laughter and warmth as he encourages children to read, imagine and believe in themselves.

In describing Morgan’s style, Rick Bird of the Cincinnati Post says, “Morgan sounds a bit like singer Cat Stevens, and his storytelling is an inspired cross between Dr. Seuss-style word games and the sly, edginess of Shel Silverstein. In short, it’s children’s music that adults can love.”
Morgan has released three critically acclaimed records and one DVD for children and was nominated for a GRAMMY® Award in 2003 – a rare feat for an independent artist. Morgan currently resides in Cincinnati, OH and is working on his fourth record.
