State Senate Candidate Thankful For Campaign Contributions
Steve May said earlier this week that he is heartened by the fact that the vast majority of his campaign donations came from "ordinary folks" not "large moneyed interests."

State Senate candidate Steve May’s campaign finance numbers were released earlier this week.
May, a Democratic Candidate from Hull who will oppose State Senator Robert Hedlund (R-Weymouth) on the ballot in November has contributed nearly $16,500 to his campaign from July to Dec. 31 and May said he is thankful for all who have donated.
“We are heartened by the fact that the vast majority of our donations came from ordinary folks not large moneyed interests,” May said. “We continue to believe that elections and campaigns are opportunities to put the concerns and aspirations of regular people front and center.”
