Three Hingham Roads to be Paved

Otis Hill Road, Clark Road and Beal Street will all be paved this week.

Three Hingham roads will be paved this week, causing minor delays to drivers.

Hingham DPW employee Harry Sylvester said Otis Hill Road, Clark Road and Beal Street will be paved this week.  The paving was expected to start on Tuesday, September 13, however the schedule has been delayey. It will continue the next three days.

Drivers may experience minor travel delays during the paving. On-street parking from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. will not be permitted on the paved streets.

Each road will be layered with micro-surfacing which Sylvester said will give the roads better traction and make them last longer.
