Three students awarded for their Summer Fiction stories.

The Fluency Factory has announced the results of its third annual Summer Fiction Competition and the winners are three Hingham students: Sabina Fickenwirth, Dylan Lindsay, and Eliza Cohen.
“Once again we had very strong and imaginative stories, well written, and quite unique in approach,” said Richard McManus, Director of the Fluency Factory. The theme this year was The Morning After–December 22, 2012. You can read the top three stories and judge for yourself at www.fluencyfactory.com/.
Prizes were awarded on September 24, 2012, at The Fluency Factory. Sabina Fickenwirth, now a junior at Hingham High School, has been in the top three all three years. This year her story, Stay Calm and Avoid Apocalypses (Apocalypti?), won first prize. The story is funny, extremely well written, and ready to publish for anyone out there who wants to put together an anthology of great High School writing.
