UPDATE: Weymouth Crash Victim's Injuries Are Improving

A Weymouth woman was left unconscious and seriously injured after flipping her vehicle in Hingham on Friday night. Police are now saying he injuries are improving.

Hingham Police are saying the health of a Weymouth driver is improving after she drove off Sharp Street on Friday night and flipped her vehicle.

Hingham Police Sgt. Steven Dearth said the driver, Michelle F. Butler, 52, of Weymouth fell asleep and was cited for failure to stay in marked lanes.

On Friday evening, Butler traveled off to the right side of the road, striking a large rock, a business sign and a utility pole.

She was left unconscious and seriously injured and transported to the South Shore Hospital.  Police said she was not wearing a seatbelt.
