Voter Registration Deadline for State Primary is Today

The Town Clerk's Office will be open until 8 p.m. on Friday, August 17, to accommodate voter registration.

Residents must register by 8:00 p.m. tonight, August 17, in order to vote in the State Primary Election on September 6.

To accommodate voters, the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today

As required by state law, voters must register 20 days before the election.

The clerk’s hours are even more extended this year because Town Hall typically closes at 1:30 p.m. on Fridays during the summer.

Registration forms need to be filled out to declare a political party or due to change of name or address.

Mail-in voter registration forms must be post marked by August 17 as well. The form can be found here. Residents registering via mail need to send a completed and signed form with a copy of their license to the Town Clerk’s Office.

Note:

Precinct 2 is now part of the Fourth Norfolk District which James Murphy is the Representative.  The rest of the Town is a part of the Third Plymouth District which Garrett Bradley is the Representative.

Precincts 1, 2, 3 and 4 vote at the High School, 17 Union Street,

Precinct 5 and 6 will vote at the Middle School, 1103 Main Street,

Precinct 5A will be for Linden Ponds voters only.
