Weir Farm in Hingham to benefit from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts fifth annual company-wide Service Day
Hingham project part of a larger effort which will touch 23 towns and cities through 50 projects

WHAT: The Trustees of the Reservations’ Weir Farm in Hingham will host volunteers from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Blue Cross) to maintain trails, clean out the barnyard, and manage the gardens and farms. Blue Cross’ offices in Hingham will also host Cradles to Crayons to recreate their Brighton Giving Factory on site, where Blue Cross employees will assemble product donation kits benefitting 24,000 children in need across Massachusetts.

WHO: Blue Cross is celebrating their fifth annual Service Day. More than 3,200 Blue Cross employees will volunteer on one day at 50 different community sites across the state—including Weir Farm and the Blue Cross offices in Hingham.
