Weymouth Woman Suffers Serious Injuries After Weekend Rollover Crash
A Weymouth woman was left unconscious and seriously injured after flipping her vehicle in Hingham on Friday night.

Hingham Police say a Weymouth woman suffered serious injuries after she drove off a Hingham road on a rainy Friday evening and flipped her vehicle.
Police believe the driver, Michelle F. Butler, age 52, of 1722 Commercial St., Weymouth lost control of her 2004 Lexus RX330 on Sharp Street and traveled off to the right side of the road striking a large rock, a business sign and a utility pole.
Butler was not wearing a seatbelt, and was left unconscious and seriously injured, police said.

The Weymouth woman was traveling west on Sharp Street towards Weymouth when the accident occurred just after 8 p.m. Friday night. She was alone in her vehicle.
The impact of the crash broke the utility pole in half in front of 80 Sharp Street and the vehicle’s airbag deployed, police said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by Traffic Officer Robert Achille with assistance from the MA State Police Collision Analysis Reconstruction Section.
