So, which committees will be meeting on Monday, June 17? 

The South Shore Regional Emergency Communications Center, the Hingham Conservation Commission, the Hingham Planning Board and the Hingham School Committee are all slated to meet Monday.

Audience comments are always welcome as agenda items are discussed.  In addition, the School Committee has set aside fifteen minutes on this Agenda to enable members of the audience to raise questions and make comments on any other matter of general concern. To facilitate this process, interested speakers are asked to provide the Superintendent or School Committee Chair with the nature of the question/comment, in writing, prior to the start of the meeting.

  • To act on the proposed Student Activities Accounts policy, as recommended by the Policy Subcommittee.

New Business.

  • To hear a report from the Social Studies Department.
  • To act on a proposed increase in the 2013-2014 Athletic Fee, as recommended by the Policy Subcommittee.
  • To hear a third quarter financial update and review end-of-year projects.
  • To hear updates on the Fields Project fundraising and planning budget.
  • To hear an update on the concession building redesign process and take action, as appropriate.
  • To schedule summer School Committee meeting dates.
  • To hear an enrollment projection update for 2013-2014. 
  • To receive notification of the appointment of Jessica Briody as a grade 5 teacher at East School, effective August 26, 2013.
