“It is made of 100 percent Albarino which is a white grape that grows in Spain. The producer is Fillaboa. Grapes are grown on their estate in the Rias Baixas region of Spain. Crisp flavors of citrus fruits combine with elegant floral notes in this medium-bodied wine. Another note is that this grape is known as Alvarinho in Portugal (yes with a "v") and is used to make Vinho Verde in that country,” said Hersom.

Hersom explained that people who generally like this particular wine, also tend to drink Sauvignon Blanc.

Now that the warm weather is here, Hersom said this wine a great aperitif on a warm day.

Hersom also noted this wine goes great with certain appetizers.

“Some perfect pairings would be Mussels steamed in white wine and garlic and also oysters on the half shell,” said Hersom.

You can beat the price for this high quality wine! It costs just $16.99.
