Wine of the Week: The Beach House

This weeks Wine of the Week comes from , which has been in around since 1934. 

Although there have been a few different owners over the years, it is currently owned by Joe Ierardi. 

Today we are talking about The Beach House wine.

“It is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon from South Africa,” Ierardi said.

Ierardi described this wine as “dry and crisp with bright citrus, unoaked, smooth and easy drinking.”

With the warm weather finally here, Ierardi suggested this is the perfect wine to drink on a hot summer day while at a gathering. 

If you are looking to pair this wine with dinner, Ierardi said it goes well with seafood, chicken, fish or other white meats.

In terms of the quality of wine, “It’s another great addition to our 2/$20 section. A quality wine for a very fair price. The perfect summer sipper,” Ierardi said.
