Winner—Best Family Friendly Restaurant

Star’s received 25 percent of the vote and edged out (19% of vote) by just 7 votes.  , the and were also popular amongst Hingham voters as each received over 10 percent of the votes.

When the was first posted on Monday morning, it did not include , or , but the restaurants were quickly added once readers commented on the story and asked for them to be inserted into the list. At the end of the week, each of the 11 Hingham family friendly restaurants received at least one vote but none of them were popular than Star’s.

Stars, which is crowded with families during the dinner hours and weekend morning for breakfast, has various options on their menus for both kids and adults.  While children  can choose from a list of meals including Star’s 'OREO' Pancakes, chicken fingers or Mom’s Tuna Salad their parents also have a great selection of burgers, steak and seafood and pasta dishes.

On Yelp.com, users have praised Star’s for their friendly atmospheres.

Jim W. of Chelsea described Star’s as having, “Friendly and attentive waitstaff, good food quality and a diverse menu.”

Marry M. of Hingham wrote, “Not bad for a family night out.”
