Readers voted  Hingham Square Flowers as the best florist in Hingham in this weeks

Hingham Square Flowers, located at the intersection of Central Street and South Street, received 50 percent of the vote and beat out the other three florist in Hingham which included Hingham Greenery (28 percent of vote),  Winston Flowers (12 percent) and Bare Cove Florist and Greenhouse (3 percent).

Owner Kim Brandon and her mother Ann, who takes the orders, were both very thrilled to win and each wanted to thank all of the Patch readers.

"I'm very excited and can't believe it," Ann said.

Ann said Hingham Square Flowers does not sell their flowers for the commercial end, but they do it because they love the artistic value of designing flowers.

When Ann takes orders, she said she makes an effort to get inside the customers' heads and picture what they really want.

Her daughter Kim designs all of the bouquets which range from everything from colorful roses to orchids to beautiful Mother's Day arrangements. The florist also offers toys and chocolate.

Hingham Square Flowers also receives wonderful reviews all over the web.  

On LocalTom.com, one user complimented them for their friendly staff.

“When I call or visit them to place orders they are so warm and personable,” the review stated.

The Hingham business’s website also received great reviews.

“The web site was very comprehensive, the delivery was made on time, The flowers were beautiful and arranged perfectly,” one user wrote in his review on hinghamsquareflowers.net.
