12-Year-Old Boy Riding Bike Injured After Being Hit By Car in Hopkinton

HOPKINTON, MA—A young boy was injured while riding his bike in Hopkinton on Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 3 p.m., Hopkinton police responded to a crash on Chestnut Street, on which a 12-year-old boy had been injured after being hit by a car. The child's mother came to the scene and the Hopkinton Fire Department transported the boy to a nearby hospital by ambulance.

The driver, who is 19, stayed on the scene. Police are investigating.
