3 Charged in Holliston Puppy Theft

Charges have been brought against three who allegedly stole puppies from a Holliston kennel.

Three face charges of receiving stolen property in a case involving three stolen puppies from a Holliston kennel.

The puppies were stolen from the Pik-a-Pup Kennel over Halloween weekend, and located that Monday in a Plainville home after police received an anonymous tip.

Plainville residents Melanie Nee, 34, Paul Griffin, 32, Luis Borges, 31, were each charged with receiving stolen property over $250, reports The Boston Globe.

Intruders had broken into the kennel sometime overnight on Oct. 30. While the alarm did sound, the puppies, and burglars, were gone by the time police arrived.
