1. The Hopkinton Public Library begins a week of Harry Potter activities today at 3. 2. Sooner or later, most discussions in Hopkinton come down to improving the tax base by adding businesses to town. Tonight the Planning Board takes a step in that direction at 7:30 in Room 211 when it discusses and probably adopts new site-plan review submission requirements and guidelines.

3. Just in case you missed it, Jonathan Landman, the new superintendent of schools has to attend a funeral today and will NOT hold an open meeting with residents from noon to 2 at Hopkins School. The meeting has been moved to July 20 and a time and place on that date will be scheduled soon.
