5 Things You Need to Know Today: July 13

1. Hopkinton Basketball Association has a few openings at basketball clinics for boys going into Grades 4 through 9 next year. Registration forms and information about the clinic can be obtained by e-mailing Coach Dick Bliss or by registering on-line at the Hopkinton Basketball Association web site. Next year's Grades 4, 5 and 6 on July 18 to July 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be an awards presentation on Friday, July 22 at 1:30 Next year's Grades 7, 8 and 9 on July 25 to July 29  from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an awards resentation on Friday, July 29 at 1:30 p.m.

 2. Golf tournament fundraiser: 18 holes to benefit the Hopkinton Golf Team Monday, Aug. 15, at noon at Shining Rock Golf Club in Northbridge. $500 a foursome, $125 per person. Sponsorships available. Email Hillers Golf Coach Dick Bliss at 508-898-9324 or 508-612-9324 (cell). 

3. Golf to support the Hiller Football Program 8 a.m., Monday, Aug. 8, at Shining Rock. $150 per player gets you golf, a cart, a barbecue and more.
