Join Hopkinton Girl Scouts tonight!

1. Monday night, (tonight) from 5 to 7 at the Hopkinton Public Library, girls entering kindergarten can join the Hopkinton Girl Scouts. It's a great way to meet new friends, take part in fun activities, learn all sorts of things and develop character and self-confidence!

2. The Hopkinton Hillers D-2 South champion girls lacrosse team plays  D-2 North champs Winchester tonight (Monday), 5:30, at Wellesley College,  106 Central St., Wellesley (Rte. 135).  Look for the D-C parking lots (should be the first ones approaching the campus from the west). The fields are beside the Keohane Sports Center.

3. Learn how to get to know your ancestors better, Wednesday, 1 to 3 at the Hopkinton Senior Center, 28 Mayhew St. Ray Gendreau will share information from his experience tracing his roots at conferences he recently attended.

4. The has scheduled a 5 p.m. meeting today (Monday) "in anticpation of judgment regarding sealed ballot." Will the court allow the registrars to open the absentee ballot Town Clerk Ann Click found stuck to the side of a file folder? If it is opened, will it decide the library trustees race that has left the second- and third-place vote-getters off the board? Click sent a request to the court last week to allow her to open the ballot. Was her request answered so quickly? Stay tuned. The Parks and Recreation Commission also has a meeting scheuled at 7 p.m. and theConservation Commission at 7:30, both in Town Hall.

5. Wednesday, the , 77 W Main St., holds early fall registration from  5 to 8 p.m. Visit the Dance Center, have some  light refreshments and egister early for the best class selection in the fall.
