5 Things You Need to Know Today: June 20

1. At the Hopkinton Senior Center, 28 Mayhew St., Thursday, 1 to 3, Chris Jennison, author and co-author of nine books on sports history, will discuss The Last Golden Age (Baseball 1946-1960) including stories and anecdotes with photos of players and game action. 2. Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce and Hopkinton Community Endowment Golf Tournament, Thursday, shotgun start, 1 p.m. at Shining Rock Country Club, Northboro. The tournament, which will benefit the Hopkinton Center for the Arts is called Golf for the Arts this year. $135 per person includes lunch and dinner.

4. Tonight at 8:30, Parks & Recreation presents Movies on the Common. This special Monday night showing of The Blindside, based on the true story of NFL lineman Michael Oher, was moved from Friday night because of the wet weather. This Friday, Jne 24, the feature is Despicable Me. Don't forget bug spray, just in case.

5. Also tonight at 7:20, the Planning Board meets in Town Hall.
