1. The Last Golden Age (Baseball 1946-1960), a presentation by author Chris Jennison including stories and anecdotes with photos of players and game action will be Thursday from 1 to 3,  at the Hopkinton Senior Center, 28 Mayhew St. Please sign up at the Senior Center.

2. The Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce annual golf tournament in association with the Hopkinton Community Endowment is Thursday, 1 p.m. at Shining Rock Country Club, 91 Clubhouse Ln., Northboro. The tournament is $135 per person including lunch and dinner. This year's tournament, Golf for the Arts, will benefit the Hopkinton Center for the Arts.

3. The last School Committee meeting for the 2010-11 school year features the final review for Superintendent Jack Phelan, who will retire June 30. It also will have a presentation by Hopkinton Middle School Principal Alan Keller of changes to the Middle School Program of Studies and a presentation by Hopkinton High School () Principal Alyson Geary on the High School Program of Studies, the Student Handbook and the Athletic Student Handbook.

4. Friday night Movies on the Common Despicable Me, rated G, at 8:30. Love those minions! With the voices of Steve Carrell and Miranda Cosgrove. 93 minutes.

5. Saturday at 7 at the Cultural Arts Alliance, 98 Hayden Rowe St., Jazz at Sunset, featuring the John Funkhouser Trio. Funkhouse is a composer, musician, pianist, bassist and teaches at Boston's Berklee College of Music.
