The free clinic  is for those who have registered for the Against the Tide fundraiser sponsored by the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition. 2. for Hopkinton middle-schoolers is this afternoon, Sunday, May 22 from 1 to 4. Think Amazing Race, Minute to Win It, and scavenger hunts rolled into one incredibly challenging trip around Hopkinton peppered with road blocks and short cuts. This may have been replaced by Dollar Day from 4:30 to 6:30 this afternoon when HHS Drama students will be knocking on Hopkinton doors asking for ... you got it!

3. Comedy Night, Tuesday, May 24, 7 to 9 at Hopkinton High School with emcee Michael Graham and headliners Chris Zito, Karl Zahn and Paul D'Angelo. Adults $10. Seniors and students, $5. Rated PG. This is also a fundraiser for the Hopkinton High School Drama Ensemble.

4. Summer traffic update: The DPW will oversee the rebuilding of sewers and the Elm Street road surface starting about a month from now on June 27 and continuing through the summer. Construction will be between Wood Street and the three-way stop at Lumber Street Extension. Expect detours and delays. Enjoy the drive now, plan and be patient later.
