Baypath Humane Society Provides Access to Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Surgeries for Cats

Baypath Humane Society is offering Hopkinton and Milford residents the ability to get their cats spayed/neutered for a low cost through the Catmobile mobile veterinary clinic. Thanks to a generous grant from PetSmart Charities and support from the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society, the Catmobile is able to come to Baypath once or twice a month. The Catmobile travels to different locations in MA, and we can help Milford or Hopkinton residents who go to any Catmobile. Their next visit to Baypath will be Thursday, April 28, 2016. Baypath Humane also helps find homes for kittens. If you have kittens Baypath will find them loving homes and spay your mother cat for free!

Spaying and neutering our pets is the most important way to curb animal overpopulation and ensure the humane treatment of animals. This safe, inexpensive surgery also helps improve cats' overall health, protecting them from many diseases, such as uterine, ovarian, breast, and prostate cancer. It also eliminates many undesirable behaviors such as spraying and howling.

If your community has free roaming cats, please contact us. We can help! If the community cat is friendly, we will take them in and find them a home and family. If the cat is not friendly, and would be happiest to live out their life as a community cat, we can spay or neuter the cat for free so they can live a healthier life! Spaying or neutering outdoor cats also helps prevent the population of homeless cats from growing.
