Workshop 2: Tote Bag (Sunday, Nov. 8)
Focus: Functional Fashion & Creative Upcycling
Design and weave your own unique, durable tote bag! Each student will work on a pre-warped portable rigid heddle loom using a mix of cotton fabric strips and luxury yarns. To make your bag truly one-of-a-kind, you are welcome to bring your own repurposed textiles—such as old flannel shirts, neckties, or patterned sheets—to cut into strips and weave into your design. What you’ll take home: A beautiful, custom handwoven tote bag.
Fees: A $10 assembly fee applies if you choose the tote bag and would like the instructor to sew, finish, and ship the bag to you.
