Dykema, LeFort Endorsed as Environmental Champions

State Rep. Carolyn Dykema (D-Holliston) and candidate for state Representative Brian LeFort (D-Framingham) have been named “Environmental Champions” and have been endorsed for reelection and election, respectively, by the Mass. League of Environmental Voters (MLEV) and the Environmental League of Mass Action Fund (ELM).

“Our organizations are united in support of the extraordinary commitment to environmental protection made by these candidates,” said Tom McShane, MLEV board member. “We need their 21st century leadership in the state legislature.”

“These candidates understand the connection between the environment and the economy,” added George Bachrach, President of the ELM Action Fund. “Clean energy technology has created 80,000 new jobs in the Commonwealth, and they understand the synergy between the environment and the economy. It’s our future.”
