Fertility Yoga

This workshop will provide information and tools to women who are interested in preparing themselves for pregnancy, who have been struggling with fertility, and those who are finding themselves affected physically, emotionally and spiritually by the twists and turns their quest for pregnancy has presented. This introductory class will leave you with a daily 10-15 minute yoga practice designed to reduce stress, calm the nervous system, increase blood flow to the reproductive organs, and balance the endocrine system. We will also explore other tools to reduce stress including breathing techniques, managing thoughts through awareness techniques and self inquiry, and ways to find appreciation and gratitude in the present.

This workshop will be co-presented by Judy O'Leary-Thapa of Absolute Yoga and Eileen DePaula of Root & Branch Oriental Medicine.  The cost is $30 earlybird by 9/23 and $35 after.   Pre-registration is required.

Judy O'Leary Thapa holds certifications in Sivanada yoga, prenatal yoga and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy (PRYT) and is also a Reiki master. Judy has been practicing yoga since 1995 and has enjoyed teaching yoga to both adults and children. She has a background in languages and working with children with special needs. As a mother of two boys, yoga has helped Judy during the life-changing experiences of pregnancy, labor and delivery, and motherhood. It has become Judy's passion to share the beneficial practices of yoga with other women.
