The “Art in Bloom Road Show” program captures the behind-the-scenes preparations for the MFA's annual festival of art and flowers. On Tuesday, March 20th the MFA’s Nancy Dunham and Barbara Charlton will present a lecture and slide presentation of the outstanding floral arrangements created to complement museum masterpieces. An accompanying floral demonstration will provide an example of an Art in Bloom creation. Working with an art object from the museum’s collection, Nancy and Barbara will design a creative floral interpretation while offering arranging tips for those who want to try a hand at their own creations.
