HOPKINTON, MA – A wrong-way driver was killed in a crash on I-495 in Hopkinton Friday morning. Police responded to a collision involving two vehicles around 5:40 a.m. on the northbound side. The wrong-way vehicle, a 2015 Nissan Altima, had crashed into a 2006 Honda pickup truck, state police said. The driver of the Nissan, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man behind the wheel of the pickup was transported to UMass Hospital in Worcester with serious injuries. No further information about the victims is being released at this time.
