WHY GO: Fountain Street Fine Art, a new art gallery celebrates its Grand Opening with a group show juried by Katherine French, the well-known and highly regarded Director of the Danforth Museum. The group Second Story, a three piece band, based in Holliston, will provide a musical backdrop for the evening.

WHERE/WHEN: Boston Park Plaza Hotel 64 Arlington Street, Boston, MA (Whiskey Park) from 7 to 10:00p.m.
WHY GO: Join Boston's young professionals for the second annual Project Cupid Date Auction! Twenty of the city's finest bachelors and bachelorettes are putting themselves up for bid!
100% of the proceeds will be used for Dr. Kimberly Stegmaier's Acute Myeloid Leukemia Research Fund.
Light fare will be provided and complimentary drink tickets will be given to the first thirty attendees. In addition, there will be a live auction and an opportunity drawing totaling more than $10,000 in prizes.
PRICING:$15.00 contribution is recommended at the door.
3. SARA THOMPSON PERFORMANCE
WHERE/WHEN: Friday from 8-11:00 p.m.
WHY GO: Sara is a crowd favorite. She will be accompanied by guitarist Bill McGoldrick . They will play a mix of blues, soul, country and contemporary songs.

4. 9TH ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP FAIR
WHERE/WHEN: Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School . Fair will be held from 11a.m. to 2 p.m.
WHY GO: 80+ camps will be there offering information on day, overnight and travel programs for grades k-12.

5. FRIDAY NIGHT FILM: THE SOCIAL NETWORK (2010)
WHERE/WHEN: Framingham Public Library (Costin Room) 7:00
WHY GO: Well, we could start with the fact that it is FREE and end with...they serve refreshments!!
