Holliston Police's K9 Cesh Tracks Suspect, Leads to Arrest for Assault, Robbery

K9 Cesh helped out the Ashland Police Department track down a suspect.

HOLLISTON, MA—Sometimes, neighboring police departments just need you to bring in the dog.

On June 16, around 2:30 a.m., K9 Cesh from the Holliston Police Department assisted Ashland police with a search for a wanted suspect.

Cesh tracked from the front door of an apartment down Main Street and through several backyards before locating the man police was seeking. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect surrendered and was taken into custody.

He is facing several criminal charges including Domestic Assault & Battery, Breaking & Entering in the nighttime and Malicious Destruction of Property greater than $250.

"A great team effort by Ashland Police Sergeant Tessier, Officer Vincuilla, Officer Jewett, and Holliston Police Sergeant Stone and his partner K-9 Cesh on the successful apprehension of this dangerous individual," said Holliston police in an announcement.
