Hopkinton Band Says Thanks for Your Help

On June 23, Hopkinton Patch writer Ruth Ann Cote wrote a , a group of young men from Hopkinton using the innovative Kickstarter program to raise money to finance their second album. 

Articles about the band appeared in media across town and the band is happy to report it has achieved its fundraising goals.

This is the band's message to its Hopkinton friends.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has pledged and made this album possible. We are funded!

"We will be heading into the studio on July 18th to track the album.

"All pledges will now go towards further production and PR costs. Thanks so much for all the support, and let's make these last few days count!"

The band's goal was to raise $8,000 and it has accomplished that.

As a way to thank those who have contributed, the band has hired artist Nick Pope of Medfield to develop an original piece of “communal art” for the album cover which will integrate the name of each donor.
