Hopkinton Board Member Charged With Drunk Driving, Child Endangerment

A Hopkinton woman is charged with allegedly driving three children home from a Holliston carnival, before assaulting her husband, officer.

HOPKINTON, MA—A Hopkinton Board of Healthmember has been arrested for drunk driving, child endangerment and other charges after police say she allegedly drove children home from a Holliston carnival, and then assaulted her husband, and then an officer during booking.

Jennifer C. Flanagan, 47, Ash Street, Hopkinton, was arrested on Saturday at her home, reports MetroWest Daily News.

Police responded to a report of domestic dispute and found Flanagan and her husband in the driveway, with Flanagan telling police she got a flat tire on the way home from a carnival at Holliston High School. Flanagan and her husband's story differed, with her husband indicating their daughter texted him during the drive home from the carnival stating that Flanagan hit a car and then a curb.

Flanagan was charged with OUI, child endangerment while drunk driving, domestic assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
