Hopkinton High School student wins scholarship

Katherine Litchfield of Hopkinton High School

WORCESTER, Mass. -- The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation, Inc. has awarded 52 scholarships to high school students nationwide, including Katherine Litchfield of Hopkinton High School.

For the last 12 years, the company has awarded scholarships to students, including children of employees, who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to serving their communities. These scholarships help students to continue their education beyond high school, allowing them to further develop and enhance their many talents.

“Our scholarship program encourages these dedicated students to continue to strive for excellence and build upon their skills,” said Paul A. Belsito, president of The Hanover’s Foundation. “It’s so inspiring to see the dedication these students have to not only their academics, but also their communities. We hope our scholarship awards will allow these students to continue devoting their energy and talents to helping build stronger and more vibrant communities."
