Hopkinton PD Helps Coordinated Seizure of Fentanyl, Cocaine, Heroin Possession

Hopkinton joined several other departments in a coordinated effort that targets drug distribution in the Greater Milford area.

HOPKINTON, MA — Hopkinton police assisted several other departments in the seizure of 1,000 grams of Fentanyl, 450 grams of heroin and 1.2 grams of crack cocaine in a coordinated bust.

On Thursday, March 03, the Milford Police Department, along with the Massachusetts State Police Narcotics Section, DEA Worcester HIDTA Task Force, DEA Providence, Rhode Island, Hopkinton, MA, and Woonsocket RI Police Departments participated in the arrest of Tomas Martinez (DOB 3-1 89) of 133a Providence St. Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

As part of a coordinated multi-state investigation targeting heroin sources of supply distributing heroin in the greater Milford area, investigators executed a search warrant of a suspected “stash house” in Pawtucket, Rhode Island resulting in the arrest of Martinez. Officers also seized Martinez's vehicle.

Martinez was charged with 1) Possession with intent to distribute heroin and possession with intent to distribute cocaine with more charges to be filed.
