Hopkinton Police Log: Officers Catch Domestic Suspect

Monday, June 13, 2:22 p.m.

Ashland Police requested assistance to help them find a pickup truck on Linden Street. Shortly afterward, Ashland Police said a person may have fled an alleged domestic disturbance to the Clinton Street area. Officers DeBoer and Shane found the suspect who was taken to Ashland Police Headquarters.

4 p.m. Officers Burchard and Booth helped sort out a three-car crash on West Main Street. No personal injuries were reported.

6:25 p.m. A Pendulum Pass resident reported the garage door opening all by itself. Burchard and Booth checked and reported no one was in the garage and nothing seemed to be disturbed.

8 p.m. A Patriots Way resident said a crew from Duggan Bros. Concrete was running a noisy concrete mixer to pour a floor at a neighbor's house. Sgt. Sutton advised the crew of a bylaw prohibiting construction projects at night without a special permit.

9 p.m. A Pond Street caller said a driver hit a large rock and tree in front of his house. Dispatch called Ted's Towing and the driver was given a ride home. Officers O'Neil, Burchard and Booth responded to the scene.
