Luna Needs a New Home

Luna, age 4, desperately needs a home.

She is a very sweet cat and naturally curious.

Luna is black female, medium-haired and medium-sized.

She's been with her family as an indoor cat her whole life. She's friendly and good with people and loves to be stroked and scratched. She's cuddly and will happily crawl into your lap.

She loves to go out to her owner's screened porch area to watch what's going on outside and fantasize about chasing birds and squirrels. She makes her needs known in reasonable ways, meowing for fresh water or sitting by the door to the screened porch to ask to go out.

Luna is up-to-date with shots and is spayed. She was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago and receives an insulin shot twice a day. Other than that she's healthy.

As her owner's daughter has become a teenager she just isn't interested in her cat anymore, pays Luna no attention, and only does the care-taking when reminded.

The cat has become an increasing source of tension and unpleasantness in her home.

Luna needs a new home where she'll be loved by all.
