UPDATE: Barn Jam cancelled Sat, probably Sunday too

This afternoon's Barn Jam at the Cultural Arts Alliance field, 98 Hayden Rowe St., to benefit the Hopkinton High School Drama Ensemble trip to Scotland has been cancelled. With Sunday forecast the same, probably cancelled Sunday too. 

 The Greg Montalbano Memorial Trap Shoot was scheduled to go on as planned this morning, organizer Fran Sowa said. The 10 a.m. event at Woodville Rod & Gun Club, was victimized by weather in 2010 too, Showa said. Still lots of support turned out in memory of Montalbano, a pitcher at Northeastern, in the Sox minor leagues and a spokesman for the Sox and the Jimmy Fund, who died  at 31 in 2009. 

Hopkinton Cub Scout Pack 26 was also weather-ready for its  geo-caching event and family picnic at Hopkinton State Park. The event was scheduled to end at 1.
