Monday, Aug. 1
2:50 a.m.: Man calls police to say he believe two males are following him on his bike, East Main Street

8:25 a.m.: Caller reports a large bunch of balloons on the shore at Lake Whitehall
11:03 a.m.: Caller reports to 911 that an unknown woman is knocking at her back door and won't leave the yard. The woman was a neighbor trying to return a loose dog. Clinton Street.

1:17 p.m.: Caller reports he was almost hit by a vehicle, and the driver got out and a verbal argument ensued. Main Street
1:35 p.m.: IRS scam reported, Woodview Way
4:30 p.m.: A woman called asking for help with her cat, who had been stuck in a tree for three days. All efforts had failed. While on the phone, she received a call that could help. She was able to get the cat with a bucket truck. Peter Pocaro Drive
5:38 p.m.: Woman reports phone scam, East Main Street
6:15 p.m. A woman motorist called to complain that there were no warning cones to advise of a bump on Lumber Street. After a check of the road, the Highway Department added cones.
9:05 p.m.: Man called to say he was in a U-Haul trailer and tried turning around but got stuck on a rock. He damaged the truck and couldn't drive it. Truck and trailer towed. West Elm Street.
