Police News: Ammo in Shed
Kids on bicycles found between parked cars during early morning hours returned to parents.

12:18 a.m., Saturday, July 2
The last users of the Fruit Street fields were unable to lock the entrance because the gate was locked in the open poisition. Officer Higgins secured the gate.
1:35 a.m. - Officer Higgins found two 16 year olds on bicycles between cars at 16 Priscilla Road. the vehicles were locked. The youths parents were called to pick them up.

10:34 - A Main Street resident found ammo when cleaning out a shed. Officer McNeil picked it up.
11:35 - Ashland Police called for assistance to find two children missing in the water at Ashland State Park, which is closed. Officer McNeil and firefighters were on their way when Ashland called back to say the children had been found and were safe.

1:05 - A West Main Street caller said the lights at the intersection were not cycling properly and an accident was imminent. Officer O'Neil checked and the lights are working fine.
3:41 p.m. - A West Main Street caller said underage youths were trying to get patrons of the store to buy them alcohol. Officer Booth said they were gone when he arrived.
5:39 p.m. - A walk-in to the station reported animal cruelty that they did not witness. The walk-in wanted to press charges. Disptacher Corridan relayed the information to the Mass Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Boston.
