In the midst of the ravaging floods in South Carolina, many animals are in peril. Baypath Humane Society is working with its rescue partner Dog4U, Inc. to bring many of these animals to safety. Dog4U is a nonprofit, foster-based rescue that saves dogs from high-risk shelters in South Carolina. With many of their foster families displaced from their homes due to flooding, they needed to quickly relocate the animals in their care. Staff and volunteers from the two organizations joined together to bring five of their dogs here to Hopkinton to find new homes.After their long journey, the dogs received medical care, vaccinations, and lots of TLC. Please stop by the shelter and give a big warm welcome to these new furry friends, who are now available for adoption.In the coming week Baypath and Dogs4U are planning to help more dogs and cats from the region hardest hit by the storms.
