Sun Out, Crowds Out Too for Timlin 5K to Fight ALS

Rain threat evaporates and runners and spectators have a beautiful day!

The race results are in and the results of a great day are in as well.

The weather turned beautiful for the Sharon Timlin 5K to fight ALS and thousands of people turned out to run, watch and enjoy the day.

Besides the 5K, children's races for those ages 7 to 2 went on until almost 11 o'clock with some of the most spectacular efforts you can imagine, lots of hugs, of course a few - but really not very many - tears and a satisfying taste of competition for the kids.
