Three Hopkinton Schools Listed In Top 100 MA Schools For 2020
Hopkinton High School, Elmwood School and Hopkinton Middle School made Niche's list of the top 100 schools in the state.
HOPKINTON, MA — Three Hopkinton schools made it onto the list of the top 100 schools in Massachusetts. Niche.com released the list that includes both private and public elementary, middle and high schools. Hopkinton High School and Middle School as well as the Elmwood School were listed.
Hopkinton High was ranked 53rd, the Elmwood School was ranked 81st and Hopkinton Middle School was ranked 92nd. Whether a school finished first or 100th, there's not really a bad spot on the list. They all received A+ grades from Niche.
Hopkinton High School has 1,090 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1. According to state test scores, 96 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 98 percent in reading. The school has a graduation rate of 99 percent and an average SAT score of 1300, according to Niche.

Niche also ranked the school highly in the areas of best public high schools in the state, best public high school teachers in the state and best college prep public high school in the state.
Elmwood School is a public elementary school in the Hopkinton School District. It has 488 students in grades 2-3 with a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1. According to state test scores, 87 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 84 percent in reading.

Niche also ranked the school highly in the areas of best public elementary schools in the state and best public elementary school teachers in the state.
Hopkinton Middle School has 870 students in grades 6-8 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1. According to state test scores, 80 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 80 percent in reading. Niche also ranked the school highly in the areas of best public middle schools in the state and best public middle school teachers in the state.
