Venture Crew Hikes Highest New England Peaks
Hopkinton group hikes through rain and fog but clear weather at the top shows a 100-mile view.

Hopkinton’s Venture Crew set out for a challenging hike in New Hampshire’s Presidential Range recently in less than ideal weather.
They hiked across the shoulder of Mt. Adams to the peaks of Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast at 6,288 feet.
After a long day hiking in rain and fog the day before, visibility at the peak of Mt. Washington was more than 100 miles.
